Blessing Place

Blessing place is a great place for our littlest guests to learn about Jesus! It’s a fun environment for our teachers and kids alike. Infants, toddlers and two’s are taught the ways of the Lord through prayer, worship, group time, activities and Word of God. Our goal is to help little hearts prepare to receive Jesus and experience his love. All rooms are cleaned and sanitized weekly, and the toys are sanitized after every service.

Our rooms are located in the west building to the left of the Worship Center. Teachers will be prepared to check your children into their classroom 15 minutes before the start of the service.

Blessing Place Rooms

  • NURSERY

    WOODLAND ROOM

This room is designed for ages newborn to walking. Our volunteers sing, play, and pray with the babies as they begin to learn about Jesus’ love. We take great care of your precious one during the service so you have the chance to get fed by the Spirit in peace. Please make sure that you have a diaper bag including the following items: at least 1 diaper, a pre-made bottle of snacks, a change of clothes, a pacifier, and or any other items that will aid in comforting your baby through the service. Only women are allowed to change diapers in the nursery.

  • TODDLERS

    FOREST ROOM

When those first steps begin they get to discover a brand new room! They will be just one door down from the nursery. The toddlers get to play with the toys and have a snack (Cheerios or Animal Crackers). There is not a set of curriculum in this room. Diaper bags are still needed in this room, so please make sure to label all your sippy cups and/or snack containers.

  • TWO YEAR OLDS

    OCEAN ROOM

This room is more structured with a set curriculum and crafts because the kids are growing up and learning more all the time! We start with free play time and then we all sit down at the tables for story time, crafts, and snacks (Animal Cracker or Cheerios). This part of the service is about 15-20 minutes in length. After table time is over, we let the kids get their wiggles out either with singing, playing games or free play time again. Once in a while they will get to watch a movie.

Child Dedication

PARENTS PARTNERING WITH GOD AS THEY RAISE THEIR CHILDREN

NCCTK believes children are a gift from God, and we are very excited that you are investigating child dedication!

Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. The dedication service provides you, the parent(s), an opportunity to express publicly your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child in cooperation with Holy Spirit, so your child will develop a desire to love God and love others. A we know that kids learn best to love Jesus by watching their parents love and follow Jesus!

Below is some information about child dedication. Take time to read it to find answers to any questions you may have and to see NCCTK’s requirements. For unanswered questions, feel free to contact laurel.vanderyacht@ncctk.com or call (360) 318-9448

We dedicate children on the 2nd Sunday of every month and parents need to turn in dedication from two weeks in advance.

When you have registered to participate in a dedication Sunday, you will receive an email or phone call approximately one week before the date of the service with information confirming the dedication 2-3 days prior to the actual service.
